AAGA Commentary

All of the AAGA committee have stories to tell about Norm. He touched everyone who played golf in the Attleboro area over the last 50 years.

"Just received word from Glen Borque that Norm Lajoie passed away. Norm was a member of the AAGA Hall of Fame. A wonderful player all his life, he was especially good as a junior player. He played in many Open Championships. I personally was fond of his wonderful disposition, everything seemed to be roses, always smiling." — BB

"He was like a dad to me when I first started playing the game and was the one to push me to go play tournament golf as a kid." — MM

"A sad day. Norm was a great person always had a smile on his face." — BL
