2022 AAGA Senior Two-Ball Championship

Monday, September 12th at Chemawa Golf Club

Chemawa Country Club was in immaculate shape as 72 senior golfers from the Attleboro area competed in the annual AAGA Senior Two Ball Championship. Weather was misty to start, but that did not deter the golfers. Course Superintendant, Curtis Liston and crew, had the place looking like a park. Course was in such good condition that the seniors played the ball down.

And, thanks to all who participated in this annual event.

I would be remiss if I did not mention the miraculous event that happened today. The odds of a hole-in-one are 12,500 to 1. The odds of two happening in the same round are astronomical.

Both Dan Tinkham and Scott Smith made holes-in-ones in today's AAGA Senior Two Ball. Dan's was on the 126 yard, par-3, 11th; and Scott's was on the 198 yard, par-3, 14th.

Low Gross

The 2022 AAGA Senior Two Ball Low Gross Champions are...

Bill White and Dave Turgeon captured their 5th championship in the last 6 years 2017-2022; and lost in a cardoff in 2016. Quite dominating, and it showed in this year's City Open with Turgeon winning in grand fashion and White finishing third. Tough to beat two of the best players in the Attleboro Area teamed together. They shot a gross score, best ball, 5-under-par, 64.
