Eligibilty Continued

To adjust for public courses, in fairness, the AAGA allowed "those that regularly play" the majority of their golf on one of the facilities on our list to participate in our events. What we ask for proof is your MGA card that shows how many "home" rounds you've played.

Some folks simply use these courses to establish an MGA handicap, which is fine. But are they playing the "majority" of their golf there, or are some using this as a way to circumvent our eligibility requirements to play in the Open?

The "Open" was established to determine the best golfer in the Attleboro area. Checking membership lists at courses is an easy process for the AAGA Committee. Investigating suspect applications is something we'd prefer not to do, but have found it necessary to protect the integrity of the tournament.
