Heather Hill Country Club Hosts Another AAGA Qualifier
One hundred and eight players took on Heather Hill Friday to try and play their way into the AAGA, 2021, City Open. Good play matched the great weather.
The field was broken into three groups, with play on the North-Middle, Middle-South and South-North layouts.
Many thanks to the Poholek family, Elmo Finocchi, the staff at Heather, and course superintendent Peter Fontaine for once again hosting the annual qualifying day. The course was in great condition and all went very well thanks to their cooperation.
Keep in mind that you must still register for the City Open itself. The entry Deadline is August 14th - 5pm.
Heather Hill North-Middle
Justin Guimond and William Leonard shot 74’s to lead the way on the North-Middle. Fourteen players made the cut which came at 81.

Heather Hill Middle-South
On the Middle-South, Darian Calverley’s 72 edged out the 73’s of Matthew Wasserman and Ryan McGovern for Medalist honors. Seventeen players got in with five tying for the last spot at 80.

Michael Philipp’s 71 on the South-North proved to be the best of the day. Fourteen players got in with the cut line at 81.
